The Erie County 250th Commemorative Commission and the Asian Indian Community Foundation (AICF) partner for Mother's Day Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, May 9th. This event honors the journeys of these daily freedom fighters. A presentation of historical women will be followed by a three-mile walk along a path decorated with signs honoring mothers from different cultural communities in Erie County. These signs will travel around the county in 2026 so people in all corners can enjoy them.
