American History Bee

The 2022 American History Bee has been Postponed to 2023.

2020 American History Bee

The Forest District Civic Association and the Northwest Buffalo Community Center Inc. are hosting the 8th Annual American History Bee for 8th graders in Western New York. The event will take place at The Buffalo History Museum on Sunday April 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm, and is open to all eighth graders in the WNY area. Questions asked will be based on the current New York State curriculum. 

Attached below are applications for the event; pre-registration is required and space is limited. There are prizes and trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners and a trophy for the 1st place winner’s school and a pizza party for the winner’s class.
Please note applications are due by March 20th. 


​Encouraging our youth to engage in their studies is a worthwhile endeavor. We hope that you will help us make this event a success by encouraging your eighth grade students to participate. If you have any questions please contact Lawrence Patti at 884-5550 or email him at
